The aim of dental surgery is to eliminate advanced inflammatory processes where pharmacological treatment is no longer sufficient, e.g. decompression and evacuation of abscesses, extraction of damaged and impacted teeth. In many cases, dental surgery supports orthodontic, prosthetic and endodontic treatment.
